Knights of Columbus-Good Shepherd Council #11126.
Activity Days/Time: Every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. (in the parish social hall)
Any Catholic man age 18 and over is welcome and encouraged to join us as we exercise our faith by helping others.
The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded in 1882. The goal of the Knights is to raise money and use their time and talent for many projects, services, and charities that are important to Church and the Good Shepherd community.
There are also very good life insurance and other benefits available to members.
The Knights meet once a month, and as a member, you decide how much you can or want to participate.
Please consider becoming a Knight and encourage others to do so too.
Please reach out by email at gskofc@gmail.com for more information.
Fish Fry Fridays (Fridays during Lent): The local council’s biggest fundraiser that helps fund activities throughout the year to assist the church and community in several ways (Pregnancy Crisis centers, Seminarians, Boy Scouts projects, local church or community members in need, etc.)
Tootsie Roll drive (usually the weekend before Columbus Day in October): Knights pass out Tootsie Rolls in front of local businesses and receive donations. Proceeds go directly to local organizations that assist individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Breakfast with Santa (1st or 2nd weekend of December): Knights help cook and serve breakfast to members of the church and community and little ones have the opportunity to visit with Santa before Christmas. Toys and cash donations are accepted and sent to Catholic Charities.
There are several other activities throughout the year and numerous opportunities to be involved.
