Join us for our 23rd annual Lollapalooza charity auction and dinner on April 22, 2022. You’ll enjoy dinner and cocktails preceding the Silent and Live Auctions. This is a gala social event that has raised over $3.5 million over the past 21 years that has benefited select church and school projects and many outreaches in the metropolitan community and beyond.
For the past two years, due to pandemic restrictions, our event found a new destination - virtually! Lollapalooza was a week long, virtual fundraiser making its debut on www.gslollapalooza.com. With a new spin on our traditional auction featuring Buy Now Items, Fund-A-Need and a Live Auction taking place on Facebook with our hosts Father Kent and Father Ashmore, we were able to raise over $130,000.
Call for Volunteers. There are many opportunities needed to help with this event. For some volunteer positions, planning begins 6 months prior to the event, others day of depending on where you choose to volunteer. Volunteers are needed to solicit sponsorships and donations from local businesses, gathering items for the auctions, assisting with various committees i.e. decorations, publicity, logistics, data input, etc. And, for some volunteer positions, you can help with the event and still participate in Lollapalooza’s dinner and bidding.
