Ways to Give
What identifies a steward?
A steward receives God's gifts gratefully, cultivates them responsibly, shares them lovingly in justice with others and returns them with an increase to the Lord through our faithful sharing of our Time, Talent and Treasure.
Why we give.
For us, stewardship is a way of life in which we recognize that everything we have belongs to God and we are simply managing those resources while here on earth. Through our donations and offerings of Time, Talent and Treasure, we demonstrate in a tangible way our love of God and our neighbors. Offered as an expression of faith, we know that God will use our gifts invested in His work to change our lives and the lives of many in our parish, community and world.
How can I practice Stewardship and Generosity?
- Volunteer. There are catechists, advocates, organizers, planners and 400+ mass ministers - and more than 140 ministries and groups from which to choose. There are many ways for you to get involved. Click on the Get Involved link on our homepage to find the right ministries for you!
- Donate. Your financial support makes our liturgies, ministries, programs for children and adults, pastoral care and community outreaches possible. Each year, we see the amazing things God has accomplished with our financial gifts. We invite you to join in the support of Good Shepherd by using the weekly envelopes mailed to your home or by giving electronically either by bank transfer or credit card.
