Estate Gifts and Memorials
At Good Shepherd we welcome and encourage gifts from both individual estates and through memorials of a loved one. Legacy gifts are a purposeful way of supporting the future ministry and mission of our church and can support Good Shepherd for decades to come. Memorial giving is a wonderful and meaningful way to memorialize and remember our loved ones. Your particular circumstances will dictate which of the many methods of giving may be right for you. Have you already decided to include Good Shepherd in your asset distribution? Please notify the parish using the default Declaration of Intent (205 KB) form.
Memorial gifts are usually a personal remembrance that honors someone significant in your life and meets pre-determined needs of the parish. Please contact Mary Losik for gifting ideas.
NEWS! In November 2017, the parish received Diamond Planned Giving Status from the Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas (CFNEK) for consistently promoting the culture of planned giving in the parish and for attaining commitments from 3% of loyal parish donors. We are grateful for our families who have already told us of their end of life bequests to the church!
